Last week I was invited to Paris with NYX Cosmetics to film some looks for a new launch happening in their stores across Europe. They had makeup artists along from all over to represent their country, and I was honoured to be there working for the UK. The shoot was for promotional material that will be out later this year.

I go to France three or four times a year, but I have never actually left the train station in Paris, I only ever go there to swap trains and use the underground, so I was extremely excited to actually see a bit of the City at last. I had just been in Vienna for a long weekend and got home to London on Tuesday evening, quickly unpacked and repacked then set off to St. Pancras Wednesday afternoon. I arrived in Paris Wednesday early evening and went straight off to have a tour of the best spots with the girls from NYX, before going for dinner at Derriere. And I got to see the beautiful Eiffel Tower which is a big tick off the bucket list.

We had the shoot the next day bright and early. I had 4 hours to create three different looks and had complete creative freedom to come up with my own ideas and styles using all NYX products and brushes.

Not even 24 hours later we were back on the Eurostar and heading home to London. I can’t wait to go back to Paris again and stay a bit longer, its such a beautiful City. Thank you to the wonderful girls at NYX for having me on board.
