I took Laura’s makeup course and found it insightful, informative and just so much fun. She has a great presence and is really personable, delivering the material in an easy to understand  way and keeping you motivated and gripped the whole time. She is clearly very knowledgable on everything she teaches, answering every silly question I had, in an easy to understand way.”

– Marina Simms

The courses are aimed at aspiring makeup artists at any level of experience. Whether you have never picked up a makeup brush, or you have already trained professionally, I want to work with you and give you the skills and techniques that will help you in the industry.

About

Even though I learnt the foundational skills when I trained professionally, I still felt like something was missing after I had qualified and started freelancing. That is why I want to teach everything from makeup application, to marketing and advertising yourself, whether you want to freelance, work on social media, or both!

The classes themselves are intimate, so you have a one on one experience and can feel confident and comfortable when it comes to sharing ideas and expressing opinions. The courses are based in West London, with the nearest tube being Shepherds Bush. London is a great city to be in when working as a creative, so I wanted to base the courses here, right in the heart of it all.

ABOUT LAURA

Before I started working solely online, I spent six years actively working as a freelance makeup artist. I assisted Mel Arter at LFW for Huishan Zhang and Richard Nicoll, worked with Grazia, GHD, L’oreal and Nike and have also worked on The X Factor as well as a number of music videos and TV commercials.

Over the past two years online, I have worked with established brands from film to fashion to beauty, including Universal Pictures, o2, Louboutin, Simple, Amazon, Marks & Spencer, Sony Pictures, Nyx, Intel, Annie Haak, King Games, ustwo Games and Pizza Hut. I have also had my work published in global media outlets, such as Buzzfeed, Cosmopolitan, Elle and Glamour.

In 2016, I won Best Use of Social Media at the Beauty Blogger Awards, and collectively on my social channels, I currently have a reach of over half a million.

Whilst still working online, I also want to work with others and help them succeed in a fulfilling and fun career of makeup artistry and beauty blogging.
